Notary Publics CANNOT give legal advice. Nor can we comment on anything found in the content of the loan documents, or any other documents during or after the signing (e.g. interest rates, terms, payments, immigration forms, etc.). Certified Loan Signing Agent - A Notary Public that received special loan document training in order to better understand the loan and the loan signing process. Contents - On this website contents are referred to information found in the loan documents. Notary Publics are ministerial servants, we can only explain what the documents are, and what they are used for; but by no means can we attempt to explain the contents of these documents. E-docs - electronic loan documents sent via email usually in the form of a PDF file. They can also be sent as encrypted files where as you will need special software applications to decode them. Notary Public - A public servant commissioned (appointed) by the Secretary of State to witness the signing of important documents and administer oaths. Sections - On this website sections are referred to the individual documents that make up the loan documents. Examples of these documents are "The Deed of Trust", "HUD-1 Settlement Statement", "The Truth in Lending Disclosure", and others. |
